The AG&M international student fellowship
Are you a (bio-)medical student (in MSc program or just graduated) and do you want to perform research at an international top institute for one year in the field of gastroenterology and/or metabolism? Apply for the AG&M international student fellowship 2018!

With the AG&M international student fellowship, the AG&M research institute allows two (bio-) medical students (who are in their MSc-program or are just graduated) to participate in an international research internship within the fields of the research programs defined by the institute:
1. Re-generation and cancer of the digestive system
2. Digestive immunity
3. Endocrinology, metabolism and nutrition
4. Inborn errors of metabolism
The applicant must be an excellent (bio-)medical student from the UvA or the VU in or just finished with his/her master program. Students from other universities are eligible to apply as long as they have a clear link with one of the research groups from the AMC or VUmc. This link should be stated in the accompanied motivation letter.
The research project
The proposed research project should fit well within the mission of the AG&M research institute. The AG&M mission is: ‘to perform research that promotes healthy nutrition and metabolism, prevents or cures gastrointestinal and inherited and acquired metabolic disease and improves the outcomes of our patients.’
The international institute
The applicant should state the reasons for choosing the particular international institute in the accompanying motivation letter.
The fellowship is for a research project with the duration of a year. Projects with the duration of nine months – a year will be taken under consideration (amount of money provided will be calculated accordingly). Projects with a duration shorter than nine months are not eligible.
