The grant will be used for student and staff mobility and enables three South African students to study at the VUmc School of Medical Sciences for a full semester. The Erasmus+ grant will also be used for short staff visits. VUmc has also received around 17.000 euro Erasmus+ funding for cooperation with the University Gadjah Mada in Yokyakarta (UGM), Indonesia. Two students from UGM will have the possibility to come to Amsterdam for a full semester and join our English taught minor program. On top of that Erasmus+ also supports two short staff visits (one for an UGM and one for a VUmc staff member). Both the University of Stellenbosch and the University Gadjah Mada are active university partners of VUmc and we’re happy and proud that Erasmus+ recognizes the value of our cooperation and enables South African and Indonesian students to join our program in Amsterdam.
